I agree. Boxing should literally some how force him to fight but we keep buying his s@@@ fights. Why fight Pac for 100 mil as in Floyds words fight 2 duds for that amount.

I dont know about getting beat but Floyd will get hit a lot by Pacquiao and we know Floyd is health first. He doesnt want that kind of fight. Pac is agressive he will throw combinations Floyd isnt fighting anyone like that.

You know what would be refreshing? A fl*mo that isn't stuck in a 5 year long time warp. They just can't accept that as it stands right now manny is chasing the fight and floyd is running.

5 years ago, the split on the fight was accurately a 50/50 split (Both fighters were stars, with Floyd arguably being the better fighter and Top Rank having the logistics to handle putting on the fight). Floyd sat at the table, bit his tongue, and negotiated the deal; he asked for random blood/urine testing, putting voice to the whispers that were around Pacquiao, and Pacquiao walked away.

In 2014, those conditions are no longer the case; Pacquiao has has his status as a star and top fighter collapse, and Floyd has established his own relationships and logistics to put on the fight without Top Rank.

Pacquiao basically merits a 65/35 split of the take, yet *******s still, in their hearts, believe that it's 2009 and he 'deserves' 50/50.

Pacquiao rejected the 14-day cutoff, and then decided to accept the cutoff almost a year after the negotiations fell apart, due to his rejection.

The notion, which you seem to believe, that terms offered in the past are valid in perpetuity is laughable, especially after both fighter took other fights, with one fighter (Floyd Mayweather Jr) bringing in $75m in his fight, while the other (Manny Pacquiao) only bringing in $35m for his fight.

The terms changed because the leverage changed with that first $40m payday for Mayweather

Before this thread gets deleted for forcing Floyd to get in the ring with Pacquiao as this site is becoming more and more fighthypescene rather than boxingscene...let me just say that we as a boxing sports fans need to figure out a way how to get Floyd in the ring with Pacquiao A S A P. People are talking about ppv numbers and how Pacquiao can't sell *****. The truth is Floyd won't fight Pacquiao even if the ppv share was 99/1 on Floyd's favor. Floyd wants none of Pacquiao since day one period.

Stop making up excuses. Boxing is a sport yes! But boxing is also a fight! You can't say before a fight...hey I want you to get rid of your wife and I want you to deal with your taxes and I want you to first fight that guy or this guy before I fight you. The world is learning Manny rejected Floyd's offer to make the fight of the century when it really mattered back in 09. Highly suspiscious move by Pacquiao if you ask a 3 year old to put two and two together.
