Before this thread gets deleted for forcing Floyd to get in the ring with Pacquiao as this site is becoming more and more fighthypescene rather than boxingscene...let me just say that we as a boxing sports fans need to figure out a way how to get Floyd in the ring with Pacquiao A S A P. People are talking about ppv numbers and how Pacquiao can't sell *****. The truth is Floyd won't fight Pacquiao even if the ppv share was 99/1 on Floyd's favor. Floyd wants none of Pacquiao since day one period.

We need to start protesting because I'm not watching Floyd fight Amir Khan, Devon Alexander, or Danny Garcia. Floyd's been fighting clowns for way too long. We need to do something.

Once Floyd announces another fighter other than Pacquiao I'm ready to go to that press conference with full gears on with signs that says Pu$$y Floyd and #FightPacquiao.

I'm no Floyd hater but this ***** has to stop. Yes boxing is business but it's also a sport. How do people let Floyd get away making millions fighting two fights with a flat footed Maidena? I want to know who's better. Pacquiao or Floyd?

Stop making up excuses. Boxing is a sport yes! But boxing is also a fight! You can't say before a fight...hey I want you to get rid of your wife and I want you to deal with your taxes and I want you to first fight that guy or this guy before I fight you. When you do that it means you're scared but whatever we all already know that.

Floyd if you're scared of Pacquiao...RETIRE plain and simple.

If that was honestly the case, or something that Team TR actually believed, they would've taken the $40m + 35% of the upside offer, smashed Floyd in their fight, and then had Pacquiao re-established as a star fans should be paying attention to.

They have not. Arum is chasing as much money as he can get now, to cash out on Pacquiao.

The world is learning Manny rejected Floyd's offer to make the fight of the century when it really mattered back in 09. Highly suspiscious move by Pacquiao if you ask a 3 year old to put two and two together.

Wouldn't accept the offer then, but now it really matters after the fact.

Manny did agree, to 14 days before. Floyd didn't take the fight because Manny didn't want to be poked in the butt with a needle for two weeks. And he gets tested after the fight anyway. "But what if Manny was on steroids?"

Well... if Manny won and tested positive it would be a no-decision and Floyd still got his 0. If Floyd won then he beat a buy who cheated and his win is even that much bigger.

We can say whatever we like about the past situations, but Mayweather is making it very, very hard to believe that he has any interest in this fight right now.

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya has serious doubts about the possibility of a deal being reached for a 2015 mega-match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, is trying to get a deal together with CBS CEO Les Moonves. CBS is the parent company of Showtime, who have Mayweather under an exclusive deal.
