Poor poor Khan!
Amir Khan talking down on Pacquiao's opponent...

You're right Dirk, he is correct when alluding to the fact that Pacquiao's last opponent was low on credibility. I would agree that Devon Alexander is a more credible opponent (although not by that much, lets be honest Devon hasn't been relevant for a while now).
Like I said I used to be a rather big Khan fan. And part of me somewhere deep down probably still is. I just wish he would quit talking and stay focused on the guys in front of him. I mean why is he even bringing up Pacquiao's last opponent in the first place? What does Pacquiao's last opponent, credible or not, have anything to do with Khan/Alexander?Comment

I agree, there were a lot of people he should have fought and Algieri isn't one of them.****...Pacquaio should have fought Khan himself who is also a better opponent than Algieri but Freddie Roach didn't want it cos Khan "holds too much"
He would have had the chance to shut Khan up so these kids on NSB can stop losing their marbles every time he speaks
But neither was Alexander, because he is just like fighting Algieri. Same caliber. Therefore Khan shouldn't be boasting about it like it's a significant difference of class.Comment

Resume? No question. But right now at this second? It's honestly debatable. If you put Algieri & Alexander in the ring together it's probably actually a pretty close fight.Comment

Alexander is also a lot further along in his career. And stats don't make the fighter...you can tell by watching them they're equal in class (Alexander and Algieri.) If not completely equal, there so ****n close it would be foolish to say fighting on is "better" than fighting the other.Comment

Dats why i hate this site sometimes....Alexander >>>Algier, Rios, Vargas
How you use a fighter he never fought before and forget Bradley?
fact of the matter is this is the first real opponent khan has faced sinced Garcia so he doesnt have no room to talkComment

It was one comment in a long answer to a question asked by a journalist. In this low attention span, Twatter/I-Phone generation, no one reads whole articles any more. People literally just read the titles. You're right Dirk, he is correct when alluding to the fact that Pacquiao's last opponent was low on credibility. Boxingscene obviously knows that which is why they chop up Khan's interviews into small snippets and post about 100 per week to rile you guys up. I've literally seen them post the exact same interview of Khan twice in the same week but with a different headline....lol. You're being trolled.Comment

Exactly. It's not concrete like Khan is suggesting. Algieri would probably give Alexander all he can handle, if not beat him.
Algieri is nothing special, and neither is Alexander. Khan should know this, and know better....
