Honestly Khan would be suited if he just fought and shut up when it comes to Pacquiao or Mayweather. Just handle your business and wait it out when it comes to the big fights. If nothing happens he can always fight Brook in London.
Amir Khan talking down on Pacquiao's opponent...

Even that is debatable though. Like I sajd, he just needs to keep his mouth shut and win his fights.
Alexander is not the cream of the crop, he's in Algieri's tier of fighters. Khan is splitting atoms with this dumb comment.
He's talking like he landed the Mayweather sweepstakes.Comment

It's fun watching people like you go absolutely ape**** over Khan making a factual statement.Comment

I too used to be a big Khan fan back in the day but I got tired of him running his mouth like he was the end all and be all of boxing.I used to actually be a pretty big Khan fan at one time. But he's so oblivious to the things that actually come out of his mouth that I've started to really dislike him.
Like Seek said, Amir is right in the sense that Algieri was not a credible opponent for Pacquiao. He's right about that. But when you look at Amir's string of opponent's since getting train wrecked by Garcia -- it's laughable. Every one of his opponents since the Garcia stoppage gets beat by Algieri.
As bad as Algieri was for Pac, the fact that Algieri would be favored against Molina, Diaz, and Collazo...is a severe indictment against Khan.
Basically think before you speak Amir, you f**king dip****.Comment

That's not a factual statement though. That's like saying french vanilla is better than vanilla. At the end of the day, they're in the same league and it's only your opinion. Believe me, this is not going ape ****. This is called perspective.
What I said, is a factual statement. Not what KHan said.Comment

People are going ape ****? They just think he's a dumbass. The guy fought three straight tune ups after getting blasted out by Danny. Three straight dudes who would all be underdogs in a fight with the very guy he's pointing out in Algieri.
I will retract my earlier statement though about him needing to STFU, and I'll agree with you that he actually should talk more.
He provides infinite laughs for the boxing community.

This kid just made a whole new thread to write a long ass rant about a throwaway comment that Khan made when there's already a thread on itPeople are going ape ****? They just think he's a dumbass. And the funniest part is that no one can legitimately argue against the comment without veering way off topic
Khan said Alexander is a better opponent than Algieri. That's all he said. So why are you bringing up other opponents?Comment
