1st link could be anybody. and that's not even full contact sparring let alone fighting.
I've used it myself on some low-life purse snatcher. Basically, run FULL SPEED toward your target, jump at the right time/distance and focus ALL of that momentum/force into a single solid point of impact, extending and locking your leg in place at the perfect time can do some serious damage. If done right, you can literally send a guy FLYING
