Although I disagree with the way he said the fight will play out, he makes good points when talking about the business of boxing and how it works.

I was pertaining that post to another poster saying Floyd will walk Manny down. Don't get me wrong I want "The Fight" to happen ever since Floyd came back from retirement. If the fight does not happen early next year? Then it won't happen period.

Paulie, just like 99% of "boxing people" believe floyd will beat manny easily, and the pac-tards get mad when other people that actually have been in the sport and fought both have an opinion that floyd will dominate manny. but a computer warrior that has never been near a ring thinks manny will be competitive. If Arum really thought manny would win this fight would've already been made. If manny only pulls a 1/3 of the ppv floyd pulls he only deserves 1/3 of the money. thats is plain and simple. manny said he will accept whatever floyd offers, but Arum knows its easier to keep making money off of manny if people think manny can beat floyd, but when floyd dominates manny its over and manny will not be seen as anything but a hype job, and yes go back and look at floyds fight against canelo, he was walking down the bigger man as he was in most of his fights since his mini retirement too many peoples hate blinds them to the truth, this fight is a blowout. Floyd is gonna embarrass manny and people in boxing already know this. manny is the b side he doesnt get to make any rules floyd did it against oscar and earned the right to be where he is. stop being buthurt over his opinion its what boxers that have faced them both have stated and even pac's promoters have known its a wipe-out.

Let's hope that the fight happen first and then we will continue this conversation. Saying Manny will lose is your assumption, that's cool. I said 65% UD, 45% KO on Manny's favor is because of the way I observed how the two fights. Manny throws in bunches and will land some of those punches. Floyd goes in his shell while withstanding those punches raining down on him. Manny will KO him after landing that straight left perhaps during an exchange hence the 45% chance only. (knowing Floyd will not exchange bombs with Manny).

But this idea that Pacquaio should just accept whatever Floyd offers and "get the rematch" is ludicrous especially when we all know what Floyd's last "offer" was. You're ******** on hundreds of millions of dollars not the usual 1 million-ish paycheques that Paulie is used to.

Given his own past experiences, Paulie should know it's a lot more complicated than that.
Are you arguing that $40m +35% of the PPV upside is a bad offer?

Even in 2012, the $40m wasn't even all that unreasonable (Wikipedia states that Oscar and Floyd split up $85m in fight revenue between the two of them); a 55/45 split, based on the previous record's split, isn't an offer that one would be expected to flat out reject in 2012.

The last two years being what they were for the two guys (Mayweather-Alvarez having the two fighters split up another $85m, Pacquiao's numbers collapsing), what is a fair offer in you're opinion?

                  just for references sake

Mayweather's got too much of his own finances on the line to even gamble with putting on a dud fight, with nothing else interesting on the card, in a market with no history of PPV support to offset the loss of domestic PPV business, and trying to sell the event for $70 a pop. lol
