I like this Lemieux kid, always have since I first saw him a few years ago. I just believe Golovkin is way too technical and most all, will back this guy up from the get go with his sledge hammer jab and make him constantly reset to throw. In the meantime Gennady will also cut the ring off and from what I have seen, Lemieux does not have a great chin and would get hurt early and often against GGG. Short fight because of his style, not ready for him just yet. I would like to see him against Curtis Stevens or the guy Stevens fought Tureano something, Kirkland or Tapia just to judge him against someone with some power before he gets ruined by a Golovkin.

Lemieux is not ready for top level fighters and it remains to be seen if he ever will be. Right now GGG destroys him and Cotto has way to much skill for him. He's a hard puncher who comes forward...but he won't do well against skilled fighters. He can make some money for a while now on lesser opponents and when he has a big enough fan base they will feed him to GGG who will KO him after 4 when he slows down a little.

          Hero Brando

You have it exactly right he's no beast and more hype then substance instead you should be saying that about Lemieux. You mention ggg has never faced someone like him. Yet he destroys all comers even Rubio who knocked out lemioux. Ggg won't walk through him school him pick him apart stop him def

Making absurd and ridiculous comparisons to floyd and ward both proven and tested, skilled, world class champions who have conquered everyone they have faced. To compare ggg to fighters like ward and floyd is blasphemous and outright ridiculous. GGG is an untested, unproven, skill deficient, hype job with a decent punch and that's about it. The comparisons between him and david are justified because they both have faced similar levels of competition c and b level fighters. Obviously ggg has had more success but the level of competition is not that much different.

And 380 fights? Are you mentally challenged? In case no one has informed you these are the pros and not the amateurs. And in the pros ggg has faced and beaten nothing but c and b level fighters and struggled with the likes of a faded kasim ouma. You need to dial into reality pal and get gggs nuts out of your mouth. David has all the tools with some additional defensive improvement, polishing and honing to expose the hype job ggg for the hype job that he really is. GGG couldn't even floor rosado but david did and he dished out more punishment than ggg did as well.

Yea he lost to rubio but he was battering rubio until he gassed and got caught but rubio never knocked him down or out the fight was just stopped. With some more polishing and honing and improved defense this kid is going to be a nightmare for anyone in the MW division and that includes the hype job ggg. And you say he is no match in any dept not even power? You sound like you have brain damage. Lemieux is not only an equally as hard if not harder puncher than ggg, he is much faster and explosive something that is going to give anyone in the MW division fits including ggg. If this kid is moved right and trained right he may very well be the one to stop this ggg hype train dead in its tracks. A few more tougher fights, improvement in defense, and he will be ready.
Jeez relax, boy. Why so angry?))
Ok, I'll reply just to save it in my history. I'm pretty sure they'll fight down the road as HBO is trying hard to sell us this mismatch, so I can easily find your post after the fight and own you.

Although I don't agree with everything you said like ggg backing him up, I think this kids power, speed and aggression is actually going to have ggg backing up not the other way around, but your assessment makes the most sense so far. As opposed to the ggg groupies that can only say "ggg is far superior, ggg is undefeatable, ggg can walk on water, ggg skills are second to none" when he in actuality he has faced no one.

I agree you are right he is not ready right now and he needs to face stevens and kirkland to get a better gauge of where he's at and how durable he is. But im convinced if he hones his skill develops a great jab from both the southpaw and traditional stance, makes it so he is hard to hit, he will be a problem for anyone in the division.

I'm not sold on that theory about him not being durable after all rubio never koed him only had him in trouble. I think that stoppage in the rubio fight had more to do with fatigue than anything. Rosado caught him with some solid shots but never fazed him, but rosado koed vera and vera is known for having an iron chin so rosado can crack, but he never fazed david. I still think the jury is out on his chin and durability the stevens and kirkland fights should answer those questions. If he walks through those guys and greatly improves his defense and few other needed skillsets I'll be convinced this kid is the goods.

Thanks doninlouisiana . One other point rosado needs another trainer the advice jessie reed was offering in his timeof desperation was not helpful at all. Barry Hunter i feel would be a good fit for rosado. The guy is an excellent trainer who teaches skill and who has an eye for exactly whats going on in the ring. I think both david L (can't seem to get the spelling of his last name right 100% of the time) and rosado would benefit greatly from barry hunters guidance.

If Rosado had any power he would have at least knocked Lemieux down. He gets hit A LOT. GGG massacares him. He is not ready for that level yet.
