Lemieux's not so different from Curtis Stevens. Lemeiux's better at setting up his shots and discovered how to work off a jab (which is still pretty weak), but he's also less durable than Curtis. Golovkin's footwork, chin, and subtle blocking will give him plenty of opportunity to land a killer counter on David.Comment

Rubio was getting pounded throughout the fight punished until he caught david with that shot after david spent his load. This is obviously an improved version of lemieux than the version who lost to rubio. He was blasting rosado with bombs last night throughout the fight and did not appear to be winded whatsoever he also took very little punishment which was obvious by the way he looked after the fight. And when he did get hit he took it really well. You cant compare this version of lemieux with the version who lost to rubio. He still needs some refining in terms of defense and few other areas but when he is refined he will be a real threat to ggg. One more thing learn to speak fluent english before you try to argue your point in an english boxing forum. You don't need to be very durable if you have excellent defense because you will seldom get hit. The question that also needs to be answered is how does ggg deal with this kids speed power and aggression? GGG has never seen that type of speed and power and it will hurt him and cause him a lot of problems and take him out of his fight game and that will make it a very difficult fight with an unsure outcome for ggg.Comment

Curtis is less durable dude, David took a beating but was never KO by Rubio, Russ Anber stopped it and David was a young kid 22 when he lost he was partying and ****y so his conditioning was wack and he was a hot head at the time look at his physique and conditioning back then and today worlds apart, he wasnt even gassed and h was throwing heavy heavy bombs from start to finish against Rosado, also GGG never dropped Rosado, David was attacking like a pitbull, David hurt Rosado more than GGG did. GGG is too slow man, if David shows bravery and doesn't fear GGG he will hurt him and test him, they can make this a huge superfight if David can win a strap off of Kid Chocolate and have a unifier, but I feel GGG might duck David and David will be ducked by Cotto and Kid Chocolate so he will have a hard time getting a shot and will fade and probably lose interest again.
I hope HBO pressures GGG to fight him, instead of guys like Murrary.
Maybe as a stay busy fight they should let David rematch Rubio on HBO? clear his name and stop Rubio in a rematch so people stop talking mess on the kid.Comment

Not by choice the other middle champs want no part of him. cotto I get wants last payday against Alvarez and isn't true middle. But quillin is a *****. Best fight would be ward ggg catch weight. I said he is beginning to look like or resemble a MW version of mike tyson. He is not tyson but with improved defense and refining he will be a real threat to ggg.
