BS coach Roach will never let Cotto in with a puncher like Lemieux. Just like we will never see Cotto in with GGG or even Quillin. Roach will force Canelo into a ridiculous agreement in Cotto's favor to make the Cotto/Canelo fight. Which won't matter because Canelo is going to beat up Cotto regardless. Cotto might as well retire or go fight back at 154.

Cotto would only fight GGG or Lemieux if they were injured or limited (such as he did against Foreman, Sergio or Margo 2). I know all his fans/defenders will start with "he is not a real MW" etc., etc., but they are the ones who keep calling him the "real champion/king of the 160 Lbs. because he defeated Martinez" (without caring/acknowledging Sergio's limitations). The time Cotto loses against any solid MW (if he hasn't relinquished the title before) all his worshipers would state that Miguel should have never fought above 154 and some even would say that their "king" could have returned to WW. And of course they would bring the age factor which appears to be forgotten under Roach's coaching.

If any1 is saying Lemuiex is a ppv worthy fighter at this point in his career, theyre an idiot. What he is, at this point, is a solid fighter in the MW division who can make some impact with 1 or 2 more solid wins. His style is also fan friendly. He looked very good against Rosado regardless on where you rate Rosado.

Agree. I am surprised to read 6 pages of delusional Lemieux fan comments about something "we don't see". This is a typical brawler who GGG faced PLENTY during his 380 fights, and is no match in any department, not even power. The most important element of boxing is control: GGG is a master at establishing control over all of his opponents, just like other elite black belt fighters (Ward, Floyd). Lemieux is a straight up bully doesn't think he needs to control the fight - just throw everything he has hoping nothing comes back, and when it comes back, he gets confused and frustrated. GGGs jab alone will ruin Lemieux hopes of getting closer, not to mention all other hundred things GGG does to him.

I didn't see any stuttering. And to suggest that ggg would walk right through this kid shows how little you know about boxing. GGG is no beast he is more hype than substance. Who has he fought that brings the type of fire and power this kid brings? And dont say stevens who is really a one handed fighter who was passive in his fight with ggg but still managed to rattle ggg a time or two and back him up. This kid punished and hurt rosado much more than ggg did. If he tightens up his defense he will be a major threat to ggg. This kid is a two handed fighter with speed, power and bad intentions that breaks your soul and takes the fight out of you, something ggg has not seen yet. He is beginning to look like the MW version of mike tyson. I would get a few more fights first with quillin and then the other MW olympian and if crushes those guys in my opinion he would be a very live opponent for ggg who has the tools for a major upset. Like I have said before as soon as ggg meets a fighter who has devastating power, speed, skill, a chin and a killer instinct and is not afraid to bring the fight to him and tear his head off, he is going to suffer his first loss. If they train and move this kid right he may be the one who exposes that hype job ggg.

You sound like the delusional, fanatical, biased, brainwashed ggg fan that you are. Making absurd and ridiculous comparisons to floyd and ward both proven and tested, skilled, world class champions who have conquered everyone they have faced. To compare ggg to fighters like ward and floyd is blasphemous and outright ridiculous. GGG is an untested, unproven, skill deficient, hype job with a decent punch and that's about it. The comparisons between him and david are justified because they both have faced similar levels of competition c and b level fighters. Obviously ggg has had more success but the level of competition is not that much different.

And 380 fights? Are you mentally challenged? In case no one has informed you these are the pros and not the amateurs. And in the pros ggg has faced and beaten nothing but c and b level fighters and struggled with the likes of a faded kasim ouma.You need to dial into reality pal and get gggs nuts out of your mouth. David has all the tools with some additional defensive improvement, polishing and honing to expose the hype job ggg for the hype job that he really is. GGG couldn't even floor rosado but david did and he dished out more punishment than ggg did as well.

Yea he lost to rubio but he was battering rubio until he gassed and got caught but rubio never knocked him down or out the fight was just stopped. With some more polishing and honing and improved defense this kid is going to be a nightmare for anyone in the MW division and that includes the hype job ggg. Lemieux is not only an equally as hard if not harder puncher than ggg, he is much faster and explosive something that is going to give anyone in the MW division fits including ggg. If this kid is moved right and trained right he may very well be the one to stop this ggg hype train dead in its tracks. A few more tougher fights, improvement in defense, and he will be ready.
