oh okay.. its a good fight to be made at the full limit of 160... people may argue that cotto/canelo is the biggest fight out there at mw but truth is canelo/cotto will not happen at 160, so this fight jumps to no.1 at mw imo because of the potential circumstances.

It is a quality fight, it is just kind of transparent what is going to go down. It is cool though because that fight should really deliver, having a big fight deliver is always good for the sport.

i agree, and lemiuex would be the biggest puncher GGG has ever fought and it will be interesting to see how GGG would take lemiuex punches... its a very good matchup that hopefully can happen in 2015 in montreal where the atmoshpere would be raukus!

It would certainly be a different sort of test than the last few guys Golovkin has faced.

Montreal would be the place to have it no doubt.

Contrary to what B-Hop says, I think we'd see GGG showcase more of his boxing ability. He bombed out Geale and Rubio because he could, but he'd have to be more cautious against Lemieux.

Round 8? the fight isn't going 8 rounds, two big punchers with no reverse gear.

Golovkin is usually cautious early in fights until he finds his range. He bombed out Rubio because Rubio pressed the action and Golovkin fired back in an exchange. If Lemieux does that, and he probably would, then he's getting KO'd early.

Put this on the undercard of Canelo vs Cotto and have the winners fight eachother.

I'm not sold on Lemieux at all, GGG trashes him.

I just hope Lemieux can land any significant before GGG lays them hammers on him. Otherwise, it will be a very short night. If Lemieux can get GGG's respect, it will be interesting.
