He has a show called Golpe a Golpe. Boxingscene gets most of his quotes from there. hes just doing his job.

Cause robberies happen in Texas. Just fight in Vegas but I don't think Canelo should have any leverage on anything part of the negotiation really.

        Hmm.

I would agree with Marquez, like I always do, but the thing is Canelo is a bigger draw than Cotto. Canelo's PPV with Angulo, a non top 10 fighter, sold about as much as Cotto's PPV vs Martinez, The Ring MW champ. Canelo's PPV with Mayweather sold 700,000 more PPV's than Cotto's PPV vs Mayweather. I'm willing to bet every penny I have, that if Canelo fought this past prime version of Pacquiao, he would out sell Cotto Vs Pacquiao, by a pretty comfortable margin of at least 500k, which would show amazing star power from Canelo since Cotto fought a prime Pacquiao.

It's clear as day that Canelo is a huge star and he is either #3 or tied with Pacquiao as #2. Cotto at this point is behind May, Pac, and Canelo. There's nothing with that though. Getting 200-300k households to pay $60-70 bucks for your fight is already huge success. People downplay that to mock other fighters who sell triple that amount but 200-300k is what you call a successful and known pro fighter. 500k and up, you're talking about superstar status.

I'd watch Bey and Crawford duke it out.

I agree with Marquez. Cotto is equally if not a bigger draw than Canelo. Unless Mayweather fights Pac this is the biggest fight of 2015. Catch weight of 155 will benefit Canelo more than Cotto. Physically Canelo is the bigger of the 2

                There you go

Say what you want about Marquez he is still an OG especially in the Mexican boxing world so from one OG to the up and coming fighter , Canelo must listen to Juan manuel

When this happens, We are in a win/win situation as fans, we will get Canelo/Cotto and Pac/F.May this year.

                      May @ Vegas

Make FLoyd Fight Pacquiao, or not fight at all. Fans have been asking for that fight long enough, and this is our chance to finally see it happen
its funny to me how people think this fight can actually force a Floyd-Pac fight. How? Floyd & Pac are 10x bigger stars than those guys and both of them are 0-3 against Floyd/Pac. Neither of those guys are going to make moves because Canelo-Cotto are fighting eachother.

It trips me out how people think Floyd with a guaranteed contract will be forced to fight Pac because of those 2. Floyd could care less about either guy. He has a huge ego, he's beaten both of them, and he didnt even care about Canelo fighting on his undercard. Floyd might fight Pac but its not going to have anything at all to do with a Cotto/Canelo matchup
