You're right just look it up Lederman had it 76-76 going into the 9th.

I don't blame his corner. Chavez took a **** load of upper cuts in that fight. His head was getting rattled like a bobble head. He fought a hell of a fight. But he took an ungodly amount of damage to do it.

always trip me out when someone brings up agapito-pac, chavez- floyd.

that's why i laugh when floyd says "WHERE WAS PAC WHEN I WAS DOMINATING?"

LOL they fought on the same card 13 yrs ago.
And back then it was Floyd, not Manny, fighting under the Top Rank banner.

Those clean punches that were snapping Chavez's head back looked brutal. That was 130 Floyd, he had destructible power and lightning speed back in those days. It was a good stoppage. It didn't appear as if Chavez had a big problem with it anyway?

who'd have thought 13 yrs ago pac and floyd would be rivals at 147? LOL
I say the same thing and fans say "No he didn't, he was just dirty." A good fighter should make a dirty fighter calm his ass down. Obviously, Pac was not as developed as a boxer there as he eventually went on to be. He had no clue how to neutralize Sanchez. Lucky to come out with a td.

Exactly this. Many times a trainer will think about stopping it, and mention it to a fighter to gauge their reaction. If there is a huge protest, they might keep them in there another round or more. But when he was talking about it, you could see, there wasn't much protesting. I think Chavez already knew that he was beaten and really didn't want any more.

The things that made,it worse is Chavez was really unresponsive about the whole thing. He just sat there blinking his eyes with a blank stare. Not sure what that was about but he clearly wasn't in a healthy frame of mind to continue.

It was about to get pretty ugly, and I don't think Floyd was going to show him one ounce of mercy as it was pretty hard fought to that point.

Chavez went on to have a good amount of success so saving him from that beating was probably well served.

Jesus Chavez was a very good fighter though, one of the more underrated guys that gave 2 hall of fame guys very good fights.

yes because chavez was blinking his eyes abnormally. that means there was a oxygen flow problem to the brain. you pacquiao fans are jealous and hating on mayweather at the sametime not caring about the fighters health

Ah well there you go. That ends that theory.

                      The video was obviously nonsense.
