Why isn't Floyd Mayweather more grateful to Oscar when Oscar made him famous?

At least you speak the truth without calling names. Seen a couple of your post you seem to be one of the few with a level head.

No, my point was that there is a clear double standard. Delahoya gets a pass from many like you. I can't even find the Ron Borges interview where Delahoya made remarks about black boxers but a lot of people remember it. I personally don't care because it doesn't affect me. But don't try to make Delahoya something he is not with the double standards.

Oscar has had plenty of issues himself.

Let's be real, Oscar put Floyd on the map and made him what he is today but of course a lot of Floyd fans will deny it. Call me ****** but i wouldn't be bad mouthing someone who signs my checks.
Floyd tends to show spite instead of class, which is just his way. Not a dig, we are what we are.

Dude, there is no double standards coming my way. First of all, I never claim De La Hoya is a saint. He has drug problems, that bizarre fishnet story, cheating, and I'm pretty sure he has said dumb **** which is apparent from the link you posted. My point is De La Hoya has never went off on a race using ****** stereotypes like Floyd has. You are going further and further away from my actual point. Floyd was mocking de la hoya when he was going through his trials and tribulations and that's low considering what de la hoya did for his career. Like I said before, you didn't see de la hoya mocking Floyd when he went through his own **** because he isn't as childish as mayweather. Twist it however you want it but that's the truth.

De La Hoya didn't do Mayweather any favors. Oscar received the biggest purse of his career fighting Mayweather. That was largely due to 24/7, which was Mayweather's idea. Mayweather made himself a star, not Oscar. Mayweather owes Oscar nothing.

oscar vs tito had the record for the biggest non heavyweight ppv, not the biggest ppv of all time. Tyson vs holyfield was the biggest ppv of all time until Tyson vs lewis, then Oscar vs floyd

Oscar did not "MAKE HIM FAMOUS" what they did TOGETHER was make HISTORY!

If it was all about Oscar than he could've gotten any fighter and made history with that fight right?

What really made Mayweather Famous was...The Balls To Become A Villain In The Sport Of Boxing and accepting and embarrassing the HATE which in return has made him a TON OF MONEY. He literally become a Real Live Version of Apollo Creed (Rocky 2 Version of Apollo Creed).

IF Mayweather doesn't put on the show he put on leading up to that fight, I doubt they break record. HBO 24/7, everything just played out perfectly leading up to that fight.

No question the Oscar Fight gave Mayweather exposure to a casual fan base that probably KNEW OF HIM but was never really all that interested in watching him.
