Into the 1st Castillo fight, Floyd got his right shoulder injured early -- he switched to southpaw in the 3rd, I think... He should have quit within 4 rounds' time and get a "no contest"... As about the 1st Maidana fight: the "pillow gloves issue" made me lose any interest in that fight...
What if Floyd Mayweather actually lost a fight? Does your perception change?

The only thing I really disliked at Floyd was that "pillow gloves" low blow (within 24 hours prior to the actual fight)... It was low indeed... But the guy is old by now -- opened to tragicomical mistakes...
... You mean I'm like a "weirdo" of some sort?

Yes......
Yes. My perception of Floyd changed when he became his own boss. When he made his welterweight debut against, Shamba Mitchell. I knew then he was fighting for money, not legacy. He's disrespected the sport on many, many occasions and it's unforgivable in my eyes. I never heard Ali saying he was the face of boxing. I never heard SRL claiming to be better than other fighters, because they had a loss. I never heard Evander Holyfield asking his much larger opponent to wear a certain style glove, or else. I never heard Roberto Duran tell Hearns, he still had SRL problems. I never heard of Hagler draining his opponent because he was worried about his punch. Get me? I don't feel sorry for FMJ because he made his bed and now it's time to lie in it. If you cannot take it, don't dish it out. In order to become an ATG, one must take the necessary risks. Floyd hasn't done that but if you ask him, he has. He has talked himself into ring immortality to a lot boxing folk, but not to me. I see right through him. He's nothing more than a HOF'mer with ATG skill but minus the balls/risk factor. An ATG fights for glory, honor, competition, for the people. An ATG loves the feeling of everyone doubting their skills, doubting whether they can win or not. Floyd is a con-artist and bully. He wants every advantage before and during the fight. If he isn't sure of victory before he signs, HE DOESN'T SIGN.Comment

wouldn't change anything about his legacy for anyone who is a fan of the sport. for Floyd, might make him re evaluate his life, fight a few more times, and hopefully make amends with his family.
for those who hate Floyd-they will finally get to exhale and breathe because he will have actually lost-something they eagerly anticipate.Comment

Ppl put too much value on th "0". A great fighter on his own right but didn't not clean the division and has taken every top challenge available. Fighters lose all the time. It never stopped SRL, SRR, etc of being ATGs or HOFs.Comment
