This just gives Floyd more leverage in the negotiations. I think $40 mil plus PPV is a good offer, and in a rematch the winner could make 20% more. I think he currently got offered a 70/30 split (I have not heard 1 side even mention what it would be).

If Manny wants more money he should fight someone that the fans would pay to see (not Jessie Vargas). Some one like Garcia, Miadana, Broner, Khan, etc (A guy that has been on PPV already).

No one knew Clottey either yet it sold double this. These #'s are simply because PPV #'s are dwindling altogether and the matchup was atrocious.

Manny had peaked and Clottey just got finished fighting Cotto. No he didn't have a huge following but he was surely more known than Algieri. Also, like you said....this was just a terrible matchup for Pac.
