Yes he did BUT "Manny never claimed to be the greatest fighter to ever lace up gloves", either. Did he? Floyd's arrogance makes one point out small details like that. It underlines his insecurity as a fighter and man. That's why I pointed that out. It is standard practice ONLY if you do not claim to be the greatest ever. He knows Arum would never let him get away with:
1.) Dictating the gloves PAC wears.
2.) Ripping off PAC as much as possible(who is also A-side).
3.) Having as many advantages as possible for the fight(ring size, choice of ref, judges/location/venue, etc.)
