WTF? Haymon won't even let Stevenson fight Kovalev, you think he's going to allow Chavez to move up and fight? Chavez isn't even a real fighter anymore anyways. He move up to LHW & SMW to fight a shop worn MW in Vera and looked horrible. I see more of a chance of a SMW fight between Chavez-Alvarez in 2016. Chavez is locked with TR until Oct 2015, he probably won't fight until after that.Comment

No way Chavez takes this fight. There's a chance he'd die. The way part of his game is taking punches...
I don't think he'll even be able to stand up to a constant barrage of Froch's shots after 8 rounds or so. Much less Kovalev.
But hey, easy payday for Kovalev.
I'd like to see Chavez against Froch or GGG, though.Comment

I thought Kovalev was undefeated?Egis Klimas, manager of WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight Sergey Kovalev (26-1, 23KOs), says Mexican superstar Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-1-1, 32KOs) is a possible option for them in the future.
Kovalev is already set to face Jean Pascal on March 14th, provided the Canadian boxer wins his stay busy fight on Saturday night.
Beyond Pascal, the pickings are going to be slim at 175 if Kovalev is unable get WBC champion Adonis Stevenson in the ring.
