I am so glad to see this fight happens! I'll be for sure there! But something is bothering me...
You guys don't seems to give any chance to Pascal.. it's really funny to read all those comments. You don't really seems to know Jean Pascal well... I follow him since his very first fight and here's what I can tell you :

Pascal fought hopkins twice and you may not remember... but he knockdown Hopkins twice in the first fight when Hopkins was 46 at the time. Kovalev knockdown him only once... and he was about to turn 50...
Not to mention that Froch once said his fight against Pascal was his hardest fight since he is pro (He said that 2 or 3 years ago).
And have you guys forget that Pascal UD11 Dawson when Dawson was considerated the 6th best P4P ? He was undefeated at the time and Pascal was not the favorite on that night.
And do you know that Pascal fought with a dislocated shoulder for more than half of his second fight against Diaconnu? And he still won easily..

Don't count Pascal lost before the ring bell. This men has an Iron mental with a lot of confidence and I am sure he will shock the boxing world on March 14.
You can say whatever you want because, at the end of the day, we will only know on March 14!

Good post. I feel he is underappreciated too. Nobody would deny the obvious flaws but it's mostly worked for him. Also don't forget the effort he gave against Kuziemski where he fought injured too, I thought that was a good performance. The one arm he did have became a laser beam, he tough. That fight was enough for me to not write him off in this 2nd part of his career.

In this fight with Kovalev, he'll probably have similar issues as B-Hop did with having to lunge to the extreme to find Kovalev, but that is something he does well when he has a full gas tank. His jab is also effective and it's seems strong enough to stop Kov in his tracks here and there, he might find chances to burst into action if he can stand Kovalev up with his jab

Great fight. Dangerous fight for both. I favor kovalev but pascal is an explosive dude with power he could very well rock kovalevs world.
