See this is how the sport should be. Pascal has that hunger and Kovalev has it also.

Real Fighters fight, and don't spend 99% of their time looking for ways not to fight.

    Kudo's to both guys.

This is what keeps me clinging on to the last thread of this sport.

I really find Main Events put their fighters in the fire for the most part. There were'nt many soft touches for Vargas(1st career)

Agreed. With the previous amateur KO vid and B-hop hurting Kovalev in the last round, his chin has questions to be answered so any fight with at least a half decent light heavy or hitter is must watch. How Sergei handled Bhop's style was great, can't wait to see what he's like against someone like Pascal

He didnt get hurt in the last round, he tripped. Afaik that was not a KO in the ams either, he got up and finished the fight. Still, he does seem chinny

I would agree if he wasn't fighting Kovalev next.

Anyway, great or not.... he's a top 5 LHW. Top fighters in a division are the top fighters in a division.

I am so glad to see this fight happens! I'll be for sure there! But something is bothering me...
You guys don't seems to give any chance to Pascal.. it's really funny to read all those comments. You don't really seems to know Jean Pascal well... I follow him since his very first fight and here's what I can tell you :

Pascal fought hopkins twice and you may not remember... but he knockdown Hopkins twice in the first fight when Hopkins was 46 at the time. Kovalev knockdown him only once... and he was about to turn 50...
Not to mention that Froch once said his fight against Pascal was his hardest fight since he is pro (He said that 2 or 3 years ago).
And have you guys forget that Pascal UD11 Dawson when Dawson was considerated the 6th best P4P ? He was undefeated at the time and Pascal was not the favorite on that night.
And do you know that Pascal fought with a dislocated shoulder for more than half of his second fight against Diaconnu? And he still won easily..

Don't count Pascal lost before the ring bell. This men has an Iron mental with a lot of confidence and I am sure he will shock the boxing world on March 14.
You can say whatever you want because, at the end of the day, we will only know on March 14!
