I don't know about that one. There's too much unknowns on both sides. Lots of miscommunication. The way I see it, Alexander probably had a choice of Khan and Thurman. And picked Khan. I remember Thurman talking about the situation with Alexander, because he was being accused of ducking Alexander actually.

If you think he can make any of his fighters fight each other, whenever he wants, then hey, that's your opinion. But I don't believe that. Fighters turn down other fighters all the time. Any Promoter doesn't have to stage a fight that a fighter wants either by the way. It's the Promoter putting up the money and risking the money.

I don't think he's holding Thurman's career hostage. I think Thurman just had some bad luck getting fights with these guys. Haymon clearly tried to get him nice names in the past, but it didn't work out.
Dude it's in Haymon's contracts that he has the last say on who they fight....What the *** do you think that means? Simply it means that if he has two fighters he can make them fight. Why no fights in a loaded division for Keith?

I don't know what's in Canelo's contract, but I do know what's in Haymon's...and those contracts have rightfully been referred to as slave contracts when leaked.

Yeah. With that situation, I honestly don't know what could've went wrong. But Khan is a better fight for Alexander at this time. I also heard a thing about Khan having the choice of Thurman too, but declined.

But 78 also said at the beginning of the interview, that fighters themselves have been turning down Thurman, not wanting to fight him. For the more established guys, Thurman is high risk. They don't want to be used as a pedestal for Thurman.
