A guarantee is a guarantee. Whether it comes from ticket sales, ppv, sponsers, etc. Pac still sees what's guaranteed to him. Its contracted. There's no "maybe" in the contract. If the contract calls for a $22mil guarantee and the fight doesn't generate the $22mil, that falls on Arum and the network. Pac still gets his money.
You don't know what the contracted guarantee is.

Even in terms of Canelo, Schaefer and Oscar did NOT want him fighting Trout and Lara. But that happened because Canelo really wanted it. I also heard that Haymon didn't really want Broner vs. Maidana. But that Broner really insisted on it happening.
Thats complete utter bullshiiit.... alexander and thurman been wanting to fight each other... still no fight...

Same situation with Thurman. He turned down the Roc Nation deal on his own he said.

with mostly all the welterweight being "al haymon" fighters, if thurman signed on to rocnationsports, who would he really fight? Haymon is scared of jay z... maybe it has something to do with when jayz and beyonce sued haymon and her father.

For the article I posted which was Pac vs JMM III, his contracted guarantee was $22mil.

For his first fight with Bradley it was $26mil.

Sure he may cater to some more than others, but at the end of the day his contracts stipulate that he has the final say. He can make any of his guys fight each other and he's holding Thurman's career hostage. Why do you think Roc Nation reached out to Thurman? They know what's up.
How do you know it's a different situation with Saul? Unless you've seen his contract too?

If you think he can make any of his fighters fight each other, whenever he wants, then hey, that's your opinion. But I don't believe that. Fighters turn down other fighters all the time. Any Promoter doesn't have to stage a fight that a fighter wants either by the way. It's the Promoter putting up the money and risking the money.

I don't think he's holding Thurman's career hostage. I think Thurman just had some bad luck getting fights with these guys. Haymon clearly tried to get him nice names in the past, but it didn't work out.

Yeah, again. You have no idea what is guaranteed.
