    Can Kovalev be an ATG?

Do you think Kovalev could be an ATG? Would wins over Hopkins, Stevenson, Chilemba, Pascal, and Fonfara be enough to be considered an ATG?

In that trash division. Yes. If he moves up or down. HELL NO. His chin is so suspect it's not even funny!

Kovalev wouldn't be able to make SMW.

Why couldn't he be? He wrecked Bernard when a lot of people thought he couldn't.

Kovalev is the king of 175

Remember Dariusz Michalczewski? He had a great career, and was lineal and unified light heavyweight champion. Yet they won't let him into the IBHOF, even though someone he beat (Virgil Hill) was voted in.

That's just the way it is. Some things will never change.
Yup that's it, has nothing to do with how trash congested and fringe the LHW division is.

Sad when a mans biggest threat is a was he up 55-year old Hopkins. The rest are euro stiffs and 38 year old Canadian hype jobs. Worst division in boxing.

I would pick Kovalev over Stevenson, Chilemba, Pascal, and Fonfara.

I've heard people say Kovalev is "too old" to become an ATG, but he's young compared to Hopkins and Stevenson, who are 49 and 37, respectively.

You know, they'll just say the division is no good, the way they do about the heavyweight division.

He's active, so if he can secure the fights he can definitely go down in history.

However, I think he loses to Beterbiev which could stall his progress.

If you really think 175 is "trash", then you really dksab.

Nope. Has nothing to do with race. That's what you're insinuating. Don't push Klitchkos and Kovalev's **** down hill. That's their issues, and they are seperate from any other Russian boxer, period.

No he won't get there! The only great fighter I see right now is Rigo!
He does everything well and has conditioning and the desire to be the best!
Best boxer on the planet right now.
I do enjoy Koval & GGG because they bring excitement and action and these days they are the best action guys with some skills in the game.

To me Mayweather & Hopkins are not ATG because their not complete fighters. They both lack on the offensive end and their willingness to dominate
becomes a defensive posture that's boring to fans who want to see a fight develop as two men box!
