CBS runs Showtime almost separately, its premium cable and they rely on subscriptions and PPV.

They can't just toss around 200 million to one person and not see a return profit on their investment. What is the point of tossing 200 million deal if you just take a loss, that is a huge chunk of showtimes budget wasted.

If that were the case they wouldn't cancel any tv shows if their ratings were lower than expected.

Sorry, but they obviously could afford to put up $200M to throw around, if they offered it in the first place.

I wouldn't go to the casino with $1k, if I wasn't comfortable with the fact that I may not get a return on my investment. We all set out to win, but losing is part of it.

Just a heads up, you're incredibly ****ing ******. No company goes into a deal looking to lose money. Floyd has obviously not brought in any return on the investment, which is why the big big dogs are getting involved. The amount of money to be made with just one fight, is worth more than the Guerrero and Maidana fights combined. CBS, no matter how much they are worth, is looking to lose out on any type of coin.
