Sadly I don't think the fight will happen, HBO couldn't force Floyd to fight Pacman, I am not optimistic CBS can get it done either.

Just a heads up, you're incredibly ****ing ******. No company goes into a deal looking to lose money. Floyd has obviously not brought in any return on the investment, which is why the big big dogs are getting involved. The amount of money to be made with just one fight, is worth more than the Guerrero and Maidana fights combined. CBS, no matter how much they are worth, is looking to lose out on any type of coin.

I wouldn't go to the casino with $1k, if I wasn't comfortable with the fact that I may not get a return on my investment. We all set out to win, but losing is part of it.

CBS had to know that there was a slight chance that they wouldn't get all of their money bacl, being that Showtime's subscription base is lower than HBO's.

They HAD to know that Floyd wouldn't pull in the exact numbers that he did on HBO. People tend to forget the 2.2M PPVs buys that he brought in the Canelo fight.
