The fight is either gonna happen or Floyd retires. It would be insane for Les Moonves to meet Arum just to help Arum put up a front that Floyd is ducking so they can fight Vargas instead, why would the Head of CBS do that? makes no sense.

The backlash is too much, nobody is going to pay for another Floyd fight unless its Pacman, nobody else can generate the interest in or around his divsion and Moonves wants a return on his 200 million investment.

two fights with Pac is more than enough to recoup and make some profit off the Floyd deal, that fight is super hot again right now, a lot of people think Pac is back after Algieri.
