Nobody can keep a straight face and tell me these fights below were not far tougher opposition for klitschkko.
Povetkin
Byrd
Byrd 2
Pulev
Tompson
Thompson 2
Haye
Peter
Ibragimov
Sanders
Peter 2
Chagaev
Brewster
Shultz
McCline
Mercer
Realistically Fury might be at the level of Ray Austin at his absolute best. Could he surpass that level in the future? Maybe.

The only thing Wlad will have to avoid about Fury will be which way the big goofball happens to fall after Wlad knocks him cold. And I have to ask if Fury is so popular in the heavyweight division why is his fight with Chisora buried on ESPN3.com here in the states?

Fury vs Wlad would probably be Wlads most entertaining fight tbh.
Let's be honest, Tyson is incredibly unstable. He'd go hell for leather, probably wobble Wlad, then get knocked out or disqualified.
Chisora prob goes mental & gets disqualified too

Fury is also extremely physically strong and loves to ruck and maul with his opponents close up. For such a long armed guy he can shorten his punches well and throws a lot of uppercuts. Cunningham had never been Ko'd but Fury knocked him spark out with a punch which only travelled maybe 18 inches. Wlad will not be able to count on being able to clinch and take a breather with Fury the way he likes to do.
Wlad also likes to be in control of what happens in his fights and looks uncomfortable when opponents surprise him and take that control away, and Fury is a very difficult guy to predict. You just never know what he is going to do next.
I've been reading again here about Fury's suppossed "glass jaw" Here are the facts on that: He has been down twice as a pro, both times when caught square by overhand rights. Both times he got up looking more embarrassed than hurt and carried on fighting without any problems. He boxed as an amateur international at super-heavyweight while still a teenager and was never stopped or decked.
Wlad hits hard enough to KO Fury, I have no doubt about that. But Wlad hits hard enough to KO any heavyweight in the world, so punch resistance will be no more of an issue with Fury than with any other challenger.. If Wlad catches you clean, you're out, whether your name is Fury, Pulev, Wilder, or whoever.Last edited by kafkod; 11-27-2014, 05:31 PM.

Seriously, if Cunningham could floor Fury, what do you think a Wlad right hand would do?
