    I'm not the one to ask. He was more than willing to step in the ring with mandatory big guys like Thompson (twice), Wach and Pianeta... but he didn't seem to want to even acknowledge Pulev's existence until this year.

    I genuinely think if Fury looks impressive, Wladimir won't give him the light of day. He'll fight the much smaller Jennings instead, who I don't think is anything special whatsoever.

      Wlad would easily beat Fury.

        a fight with fury is a hell of alot more lucrative than pulev. pulev generated little interest which is probably why wlad was in no rush to fight him. he was another guy that wlad wouldnt have had any fears about facing stylistically. still not getting this size thing at all. why would wlad rather choose smaller quicker fighters when he tends to destroy the bigger guys more impressively

          I agree. I still wanna see it tho becuz at least fury would go out on his shield and not go into a defensive shell like most others have. wlads so much more exciting when he gets guys that press him and make him open up like pulev did

            CLINCHko would get knocked out if he actually FOUGHT. Fury would knock out HUGko if they ever fought.

                As you said in your first post, Wlad has his eyes on the prize: the WBC strap.

                Unless there's potential for a big PPV payday with Fury, why should he bother? He'll have to fight him at some stage; he'd be his mandatory.

                  I like Jennings, but I think his inexperience and comparative lack of physical stature would make him an easier opponent for Wlad than Fury would be.

                  I think that, of all the possible threats to Wlad's dominance, Fury is the one who would give him the most problems. But he would probably give him his biggest purse too, apart from the winner of Stiverne/Wilder, so I think there is a chance we might get to see Fury vs Wlad next year. Fury needs to get past Chisora first though, which isn't a foregone conclusion.

                    nothing mediocre accept both mcdermott fights, where you was blowing out your ass. wlad would ko fury probably in 3 rounds cause he cant keep his hands up, every time he throws a punch the other hand drops.

                      what quality does fury possess that makes him most dangerous to wlad? im just not seeing it. size has never been an issue with wlad. its speed and explosiveness,,and a strong chin thats been his biggest enemy in the past and fury has none of the above
