James DeGale vs Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez....who wins?

I know this fight won't happen anytime soon but what a fight it would be. I think it's a great match-up between two hungry guys that want to make a statement, prove themselves and take their career to the next level.

I predict an action packed and very entertaining fight that could turn into a FOTY candidate

I think it could happen. It'd be one of the fights I'd look most forward to in 2015.

    I think it's evenly matched, 50-50 fight.

      50-50??

I don't buy that. Degale would be a good favourite going in and I'd expect him to win.

Pretty close fight i think. Only seen Ramirez a couple of times but he looks really promising. Too soon for him to be facing DeGale though and i could see it being a mid to late tko for DeGale.

I'd favor Degale but Ramirez can crack. He would test DeGale's chin big time. I really hope they can make this fight happen.

If they was at the same stage in their careers then i'd probably favour Ramirez.
You're right, he can crack something serious and throws lots of punches.
I'm not sure what his defence is like though

Ramirez has 30 fights and his best opponent was Lorenzo. I haven't seen enough from Ramirez against quality opposition to know how he'd do against DeGale. DeGale should be favored as he's folded contenders in his last couple outings. If DeGale keeps bringing it like he has and Ramirez steps up, it'll turn out to be a great fight.

                Who wins this fight?
Zurdo wins via stoppage in under 8 rounds. DeGale would be on his unicycle for most of the fight since he has never fought a fellow southpaw with KO power.

No idea before I'd of taken Ramirez for the upset before when DeGale was more defensive and p1ssed rounds away but DeGale looks a different beast after his surgeries.
If he fights like he has lately that would be a great, great fight.

I'm unsure DeGale for the skills, speed and experience, Ramirez is more basic but has the size & power I think it would be a close distance fight either way.
