How is he a coward? They offered him a bad deal and he passed. But he's not tied to Showtime so this fight can be made. HBO needs to pony up the money to get it done.

Well then get ready to wait, because Stevenson isn't fighting Kovalev. I heard a recent interview with him, and he kept saying "contact my manager Al Haymon". Nobody on the HBO side of the fence is contacting Haymon and Haymon doesn't want his fighters on HBO. Stevenson's just too plum dumb to realise it, he has zero comprehension of boxing politics.

All Stevenson is doing here is ducking Hopkins for a second time.

come on man. ive seen no evidence of him being lowballed. there's no reason that fight couldn't have been made. kovalev was obviously all for it. this fight really needs to happen. im sick of the mayweather's and stevensons that don't take there highest risk fights and cheat us fans in the process. those two are more concerned about money and there record than competing against the very best and giving us fans our money's worth. when youre already making millions a few thousand bucks short changed shouldn't matter. make the damn fights

Lol says the man who isn't invested at all. You would've done the same thing yourself. You wouldn't quit a job paying 25 an hour to do the same job for 15. Why do you expect the boxer to be any different? I think the fight can be made. They weren't even that far off last time.

Stevenson has neither the tools nor the acumen to put on such a clinic. Don't confuse speed with actual boxing skills.
