I think Tim Lane got left in China, Algieri did a sneaky and turned off Tim's alarm clock so he missed his fight. He better learn the language soon, he's gonna have to be training guys out there now. He's gotta make some money and get shelter too.

You cannot underestimate the level of positive thinking Lane creates too. I heard that the moment that changed his life was when he watched the Black Knight scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. From that day forward he took the Black Knight's outlook as his philosophy to live by. Only positive thinking and reality be damned.

Tim Lane & Algieri seem to be practicing hypnoticism...hence all the weird talk about cage, round one & two, things are going fine etc etc. You let the fighter believe what YOU want them to believe. When he eventually lets Algieri out of the cage, Algieri is supposed to react like a tiger let loose. Will work for most opponents...not named PACQUIAO!

Too bad you mentioned "active", otherwise it would be a no-contest (Mickey Ward IS the greatest trainer of all time!

He trained Gatti and give him nice advice ("more left hook Arturo, more left hooks")!

hahaha Tim will remember from now on, if no key in hand, never leave the hotel room.

I would have voted for Naazim but he wasn't a choice. I voted for Nacho.
