Such a troll thread from such a great poster is disappointing .... to top it all off you freaking put a poll up, wtf?

Tim Lane's greatness should not be questioned. Your foolishness should get you banned for a day and a half(or a few hours). Time Lane transcends boxing, sports, humanity. He is what dreams consist of, the essence of the sport, the man whom caged a titan and forgot the Key.... Get your **** together man...

          Tim Lane??!!!?????

          Are you serious???

Why aren't Roger or Floyd sr. on here. They are obnoxious ****heads,...but are amazing trainers.

Tim Lane was delusional and clueless,..Before, during and after the Pacquiao fight.

I like Mike Stafford to start a young kid out with. Mike is a former USA National Team Coach and has been involved in the sport for some time now. He has fundamental boxing in place and can develop a mentors attitude with a youngster. He is the type of trainer I would approve for a 12-15 year old to start with.
As for todays current "name" trainers I would first suggest Abel Sanchez, Abel is a self made man as a contractor and doesn't need boxing for survival, and that's important when making decisions for your fighters.
He has a lot of big fight experience and his gym is one the best available today. He uses a fighters natural gifts and tries to mold away any bad habits without breaking the mold, difficult to do.
He has a good competitive spirit and backs his fighters all the way. He does a good job as a corner advice man but isn't a great evaluator while the bout is on.
Both men from what I see and read about them get my trust factor and that's the first thing that needs to be established in any teaching endeavor. Trust!
              Ray.

              tim lane, seriously? hahahaha.........

Freddie I think does a great overall job as a trainer. Maybe it's just because he has a lot of fighters so he is on TV a lot more than other trainers but his guys always come in shape. They are also all pretty respectful of the sport which brings me to Robert Garcia.

I think he does very well in bringing a gameplan and getting his fighter mentally ready for a fight. I'm tired of his fighters not making a weight which I feel is unprofessional and disrespectful. Not to mention what happened with Freddie in China between him and Ariza, Garcia should be a boss in there not a friend. He should have gotten that entire situation in control.

Nacho is good but only based on past pupils, no one exceptional stands out right now except for Marquez and that's steroids not Nacho (lately.) GGG's trainer is solid as well but he talks too much, especially now. I almost feel he wants the fight more than GGG just so he can get the paycheck.

Before Saturday I would have voted Freddy. But after the schooling he got its obvious he isn't half the trainer that the almighty Lane is.

If you didn't vote for Tim Lane you DKSAB.
