Howard Foster Jr is The Worst Referee of all Time

There's plenty of examples. I remember Tim Bradley being dropped like a sack of potatoes against Nate Campbell I think. Hard knockdown.

Came up and won. If Foster had reffed, he would have stopped it then and there.

It's annoying, but it's a concious choice by the BBBofC due to the tragic incidents that's happened in Britain over the years with Watson, Mclellan, Ali etc all ended with tragic brain damage or other things and in some cases, death.

We also have to remember it's a sport and no one wants to see someone getting seriously hurt if the fight could have been stopped a couple of punches earlier.

Would Foster have stopped it if it was a British fighter at harm of losing?
I see many British referees giving the British home fighter a chance to recover but I rarely see it when it's the foreign guy, it's easy to have complaint when the manner of his profession determines who he is analysing almost as if ole Eddie gave him advice.

Every time I've seen this fat *** he is terrible.

I'm a huge James DeGale fan but he was robbed of a good KO last night by Foster. The guy was waving his arms before DeGale had even landed his finishing blow.

This is the same ****-pull who stopped Froch-Groves 1. And it seems he STILL hasn't learned from it. Does he have bets on?

I knew about him before that fight and I predicted to my mate that it would be stopped early. I've never seen Foster NOT stop a fight prematurely.

He literally got BOOOOED by the crowd when they showed him on the big screen in Liverpool but he STILL stopped it early. The guy has no shame. He's worse than David Gaye ffs

What you also have to think is if the BBBC are happy with his performances then why should a ref change what they are doing?
Have you considered he might not like how he is advised to apply the rules?

So the ref is able to make a subjective call on whether the fight should be stopped, i get that. But surely we are able to subjectively say the ref got it completely wrong?

Periban was not "in need of urgent medical attention", nor was he "outclassed or unable to continue as a result of injury, or not in a position to continue boxing or, at the conclusion of any round, ten points or more behind his opponent"

He was beginning to be outclassed though, ill admit that, but its not like he taking a vicious beating.

Sorry Funky Monk, I understand being a ref is difficult, but Foster seems to get decisions 'wrong' on a consistent basis.

To be fair the lines are usually VERY thin. I, like most, prefer refs that let them get on with it and gives the guys all the chances in the world, like Steve Smoger. BUT, then comes the chance of guys getting hurt so it can be hard to say. Other refs where good once but had some blinders, like Joe Cortez.

Myself, I like Bayless as a ref.

But anyway yeah back to the point, Foster Jr sucks, Ian John Lewis aint too far behind.

I can't forget Kenny Bayless terrible performance with the Maidana Vs Mayweather rematch...
Its so inconsistent, some referees can have a great night with controlling the fight and prevent it becoming about him but that fight was just ruined by Bayless imo similar to how Vic Draculich ruined the Rios vs Chaves fight.
