They picked Alcherry before he was ripe then drained him on the scales.

So, maybe, perhaps, by some chance, Chris wasn't a straight up bum before the fight.

But he sure was one as soon as he stepped off the scales the second time.

    .
What do you care about his tax issues?
So it's the same as Floyd vs Canelo at 152?
Chris will have to prove in his next few fights what level he's at. Personally I think he could cause some guys like Broner and Vargas big problems at 140. He's never going to beat a guy like Manny or Floyd obviously.

I think Chris, the same as a Robert Guerrero, or even Maidana, is a good solid fighter but when you face an ATG, you see the obvious difference in skill set.
Hope we see the kid back in the ring against top guys at 140. I still think he could beat a Vargas or Herrera or even Garcia if he could avoid the left hook.
Floyd and Manny are once in a generation talents, instead of downplaying their opponents we should just recognize how great they really are and enjoy it while it lasts cause I don't see anyone coming up with the kind of talent these 2 have brought us.
I never want to see Algieri fight again. There's nothing I hate more in boxing than guys who come in to survive, and not to win. If you're not there to win, then what the **** are you wasting our time for? (the obvious answer is the paycheck but that's beside the point)

I want to see One Song fight again though lol. Nobody gave him a chance and he was completely outclassed but he was there to win every second of the fight and he even hurt zo.

of course hes not a bum but stop trying to hype the win up by comparing him to maidana smh.... maidana with garcia as his trainer gives any top ww problems.. this fight can be okay if mannys fans would just say manny did what he was supposed to and got the win... but to try to upgrade the win by posting crap like "algieri would beat floyd" is just insane... thats where pacs fans lose.... its childish and he didnt belong in the ring with pac but its okay and happens but please just take the win for what it was and move forward

Great boxers - like JMM or Bhop can make some noise against these elite of elites

Good boxers - like Algieri, Guerrero, Bradley definitely have the talent that can win titles

Mediocre boxers - Provodnikov, Alvarado, Rios. can have some good nights against weak title holders

and of course the bad boxers club fighters like the Shadow.
          Again with the bizarre comparisons...?

          How do you know?

Algieri has done nothing to be compared with Bradley or Guerrero yet. He's won one paper title fight against one limited paper titlist. Apart from that, he's done nothing in his entire career. Nothing. That is all he has done up to this point.

Now, you're comparing him to Bradley, a two division, lineal, unified champion, who has championship wins ranging from top ten contenders to bona fide first ballot HOF greats, Marquez not Pac, along with everything in between. He's beaten, off the top of my head, about 12 or so champions, including many current top rated champions.

For the next week troll meter will be super high.

Algeiri gives anybody problems with his punch out put and legendary conditioning.

He was too inexperienced to give PAC trouble last night
We were saying this fight was a joke pre-fight as well.

He is not a bum but he is an arrogant bragger who is not nearly as good as he thought he was. I thought he lost a close fight to Ruslan. He said he was going to beat Pacquiao up, knock him out and retire him. Instead he just ran away all fight and lost by the most one side scores I have ever heard of. Even though he ran all fight he did show guts and toughness to take that beating and finish the fight. He just barely beat Ruslan so what made him and his trainer think they would so easily KO the great Pacquiao? Algieri got a reality check and the beating he deserved for talking so much crap. Algieri is a decent fighter and a world champion and the way Pacquiao so completely outclassed and dominated him is further proof that Pacquiao is still a great fighter and by far the biggest threat to Mayweather of all the welterweights and Jr. welterweights. Algieri would be a big underdog if he fought Garcia who has proven himself an outstanding fighter against top opponents many times. Algieri has only the one win over Ruslan as far as real high level opposition goes and many, myself included, though Ruslan beat Algieri in a close fight.

He may not be a bum but he fought like one. The fight was a joke. Of all the over matched fights last night, that one looked the most obvious. He didn't belong in the ring with Manny Pacquiao.

and anybody who is in their 30s and still lives with their mom is a bum.

I think it's pretty accepted that If Provo would have beat Algieri then he would have been last nights opponent right? Algieri , as much as you hate it, earned his fight with Manny. Same way Maidana beating Broner got him the Floyd fight when they had Khan all but set in stone for Floyd. It is what it is.. Now let's see what Floyd says after Manny calling for the fight last night. Balls in his court..
