my definition of spectacular is probably different to yours, what's so spectacular about him?

I'm not dissing him, kid has solid skills, good footwork, decent speed and best of all he is a combination puncher when he gets on a roll but he isn't great in any of those categories although he is very good.

I've been watchin for long enough to know the difference.

He's a volume guy, but either he doesn't sit down on his punches much or he just doesn't pack a good punch. A guy like Rigo doesn't throw nearly as much, but he makes his punches count as you can see by how his opponents react. I find that more impressive than punch spamming with little pop. Loma threw everything but the kitchen sink at little hobbit Gary Russel Jr. and couldn't' even drop him once.

Throwing more punches and getting hit less means a better mastery of boxing, but I really don't get why people have to be on either Rigo's side or Loma's side. They're both incredible talents, it's hilarious when people try to pick Loma apart on here.

Looks like I struck a nerve. I've always respected Rigo, but have to equal the playing field sometimes since Loma has had critics on his back since he turned pro, which is absurd.

Yeah but Lomachenko still managed to throw more than a 1000 punches and connect at more than 35% which is very impressivet considering this is his only 4th pro fight.

and while only having one good hand for half the fight what a runner.

And be more hittable. There are different styles to fight effectively, when you have the great movement Lomachenko has it would be pretty foolish to decide to be more flat footed. Besides he is hardly stinking the place out like Rigo or Mayweather, he is being aggressive and he is hurting his opponents.

Loma is just a rediculous talent. Marvelous stuff even with one hand, though the Thai guy is one tough sob as with most Thai boxers but he was limited.
