How long you've watched boxing?

Why do I keep seeing this coming up? "Oh you must have just started watching boxing" Now look, I'm 20, 21 in 3 weeks and I've been watching since 13. So I have eight years of watching boxing. Only Pro boxers and trainers will I ever listen to as an "authority" of the sport.

This, "I've watched boxing for 30 years" stuff means nothing. Skip Bayless has been watching that long and he is a moron. The reality is a 10 year old kid can spend 3 months on youtube and watch more boxings matches than the most avid watcher here.

So stop demeaning other peoples opinions you asshats

Well, pretty much half a century for me.

In terms of what you originally poster, I do agree, just because someone has been watching boxing for a handful of years doesn't make them an authority on the sport but as with anything in life, time brings wisdom, understanding and experience. Someone who has watched the sport for decades instead of mere months or a couple years means that they will, in most cases, have a better understanding of the machinations that go on and a better perspective on fighters and their opponents.
