I'm not hyping Khan, i'm just showing that when Freddie had Khan, he said he's a beast. Then when he doesn't have Khan, and Khan is calling out Manny, he says "I don't want Khan, give me Danny Garcia." As far as Khan beating Maidana, just remember:
December 12, 2010:
Amir Khan, still a world champion but headed for hospital, mumbled through the bruises and cuts that dressed a face rearranged only moments before by Marcos Maidana: "I proved tonight I've got a chin."
What an understatement. The 4,632 fans scattered around an arena that holds twice that number in the bowels of the Mandalay Bay last night were brought to their feet in a frenzy in round 10 as the Argentinian challenger – who came to the fight with an 87% stoppage record – belted Khan from one side of the ring to the other.
He landed blows, unanswered, that would have destroyed any other fighter of comparable size in the world, including Khan's friend and stablemate, Manny Pacquiao.
Amir Khan survived a brutal late onslaught from Marcos Maidana to retain his WBA light-welterweight title
Just saying!Comment

So what happened with the Canelo fight? Cards don't mean ****, each round was competitive and hard earned. With Floyd slowing down and Cotto getting better, I'm going to go out on a limb and for the first time say Floyd will lose. I've never picked against Floyd, if he fought Manny, I would pick Floyd. But Cotto is a bad style matchup despite what the cards said.Comment

But to your question .... Cotto would be easier in a rematch, because he is susceptible to the same punches and same strategy. His boxing style remains constant. The only thing different about Cotto today vs when he fought Floyd, is Roach, and that is extremely subjective. Especially since we only have as a reference, how many fights under Roach? And against, a compromised opponent (Sergio) at that!!!!Comment
