What were Shane Mosley's weaknesses? I am very confused.

Mosley ran into trouble once he fought guys BIGGER than him. I wouldn't call them flaws....for all intensive purposes we're discussing 135.
He ran into trouble when he fought better fighters. Same way Golovkin would run into trouble and suddenly not look like the fastest, strongest, best middleweight ever when he fights better competition.

Mosley was not nearly as amazing at lightweight as you seem to think.

Lacks In defense always his main problem especially as time went on.

      Abit one dimensional.

      No jab what so ever.

      Struggles with movement.

He looked decidedly mediocre against Holliday. And I remember a complete unknown in Eduardo Morales rocking him briefly because he left his chin wide up in the air, as was his habit. That said, he was a solid champ. The competition just wasn't impressive at that weight and told us little.

Mosley ran into trouble when he fought Phillip Holiday.

Who coincidentally is the only ranked fighter he fought at Lightweight.

His opposition was diabolical at Lightweight.

              You've gotta be kidding me.

He threw quadruple jabs and it was one of his biggest weapons!

                No I'm not kidding you.

His jab is poor, always has been. He flicks it out, doesn't step in, paws with it.

Always had problems being countered over it.

I got you. I was thinking more range - finder as opposed to damaging tell shot.

But what do you think Mosley's weaknesses were? And was he a class A fighter?
His weakness was when he's off the juice the guy couldn't perform look how he gas out after 2 rounds vs Mayweather. Sorry the guy was a steroid cheat and should be branded up there with Margarito as a cheat
