I would think that this is because Bernard is no Froch (I like Froch btw). If he was looking for easy pennies than he would definately chase the Junior fight. He's looking for glory He also thinks that after mistake he made with Kovalev (thinking that was another Pavlik) he should get back to his style of fighting guys two divisions lower (again Pavlik). But this one may very well turn into another costly (for his 50 year old body) mistake.
But I can't help but admiring the Legend. He's not looking for easy cash out.

Broner doesnt have a better resume. Only one decent win in Demarco, nothing special. Losses to no hopers like Pdl, Quintero, big time struggles with fringers and major underdogs like Paulie and Taylor
