Can't believe people even mention Ward's name anymore. He's had 1 fight in well over 2 years and can't fight again any time soon.

Even if he did, there's no more reason GGG should go to 168 than Ward to 175.

Why are you guys even responding to 'Chris Bauermeis'? He is an obvious alt.

Joins the site 3 days ago, all posts consist of bashing Kovalev, GGG, Klitschko, and Pacquiao.

No one joins a boxing forum and immediately bashes certain fighters. He's had over 100 posts hasn't contributed anything besides these troll posts. He won't last very long. Just let him sink.

        Going back to Sanchez...

I would lean towards GGG here, but I think he will have a tougher than Kovalev. Simply because he doesn't have the size, nor can he take those big steps back after he throws a combination. He could get tied up here. But I also think he's more willing to throw a bigger variety of punches than Kovalev. Instead of of just the straight punches he likes to throw uppercuts and hooks to the body.

GGG has the power but I'm not so sure his style will mesh as well as Kovalev against the bigger Hopkins...
GGG may be just as strong or close to as strong as Sergey. That's just speculation on my part, but GGG really seems far more powerful than any of his opponents. That being said, IMHO GGG beats BHop, and I'd rather see BHop fight Stevenson. Think about it, if BHop beats Stevenson, he'll have a belt again as well as having beat the lineal champion. Wouldn't that be the perfect way to end a 20+ year career.

Broner has balls and bank GGG wishes he had.
His resume makes Golovkin's look like a greasy menu at taco bell.

How much is Ward making now??

Probably around what GGG is making playing Sheriff in his MW ghost-town

What is GGG learning by fighting all those cans??

              NOTHING

How is he preparing himself for a DRASTIC step up in competition?

              HE ISN'T PREPARED

Ward has forgotten more about boxing than Golovkin will ever learn.

GGG backs out with his hands down
              Ward does not
GGG drops his punches to his crotch
              Ward does not
              GGG poses after he throws
              Ward does not
GGG can only fight one direction
              Ward has OPTIONS.
GGG should shout from the rooftops Ward at 160. have ward come down to 160. why aint ward calling out kovalev instead of the smaller guy. we know the answer to that

I hope Bernard is serious, too. It would be nice to see GGG fight a quality opponent. A 50 year-old Bernard Hopkins who is 10-15 years beyond his best fighting days, is still better than any opponent GGG has fought thus far.

GGG should fight Kovalev thats who won last week not Hopkins.
Thats as doable as a Hopkins fight GGG can go up in weight. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander I think is how the saying goes.
