four of those guys had a lot of success, earning split/maj decisions. just on the stats castillo shudve gotten the victory....This whole "get dirty" gameplan has been attempted by Jesus Chavez, De La Hoya, Cotto, Maidana , Castillo, Burton, Hatton... keep trying I guess. And what does that tell you when the ONLY way to beat Floyd is to commit fouls and break every rule.. doesn't that tell you the guy is special.. JDJ is not the only one thats suggested this, Mike Tyson also said this is what he would do.. i dont remember guys saying they needed to be dirty to beat Ali, Roy, Pacquiao, Oscar, Shane.. only to beat Floyd this is suggested. . Smh.. Maidana unleashed elbows, headbutts, knees, bended his arms, tackles.. he pretty much executed this gameplan to perfection .... and still lost
if dlh were younger/hungrier different story man.Comment

Manny can't even beat JMM.I always thought speed, deception, timing, and endurance would beat mayweather. Manny has the tools to do it but I don't see any other fighter having success. If Khan had a better chin he could have a chance as well. If you see how Mosley hurt Mayweather, he used speed, timing, and deception. Floyd recovered from those massive shots so he gets credit for that. The only problem with mosley was he didn't change his punches. If he would have fainted and used his jab to set up other shots, he could have won.Comment

WTF?1st things 1st to beat Floyd youre gonna need a nice jab-not necessarily to score with just to keep his signature straight-right at home, also shoot that jab especially when he jabs to the midsection to give him something to think about(maidana 1). 2nd tool is speed-right before he shoots his straight-right he tends to drop his hands, somebody fast enough will catch him. After his straight right he ducks and steps out to his right-counter it with a left hand..a southpaw mid-range hooker would be perfect. Thrown when he throws, floyd has habits in the ring too and can be capitalized on and alotta fighters tend to overthink n when that happens go bk to the basics; jabs, feints, head movement
That looks great (albeit a touch simple) on paper but in reality this type of tactical dissection of a fighters technique rarely (if ever works) under the lights.
To beat Floyd you have to make him fear you. You beat the man NOT the boxer.
Defensively Floyd is almost impossible to breakdown using any other tactics than aggressive pressure and unconventional angles.
You won't be able to out think Floyd in a boxing ring, but the right man can out fight him.
Just my opinion.Comment
