You obviously haven't seen that fight. Moorer fought great against Foreman. It was a one punch knockout landed by one of the biggest punchers of all time.

I don't know what you think you're replying to. I'm replying to an idiotic post that this was a crap win over a stiff who then used the phrase "then you really don't know your boxing." when he clearly doesn't. If you want to jump in on that and you think that's correct, I don't take you any more seriously than you apparently take me jumping in on my reply. I don't remember saying anything like "Pulev is a defensive genius" or anything so it doesn't seem like you're even replying to the right comment. But maybe you think Pulev is a stiff, it's a crap win and everybody does great against Thompson. Don't know, don't care. "peeleft:

Really hard to measure how good Wlad is off the guys he is fighting. But it is not his fault the division has been so weak all these years.

except that's not true. joe louis has 25 defenses as linear champ. wlad has 2. sorry wlad beating chagaev who was number 3 doesn't count. wouldn't have counted if louis did it. louis also beat 25 guys who were ranked in the top 10. wlad's at 12. close?

You obviously DKSAB if you think Moorer's brittle chin could stand up to a Klitschko.

I'm surprised at the amount of hate surrounding this victory. I'm not a Wlad fan, but he dismantled the #1 ranked heavyweight with some really precise power punching. I thought Pulev had a good shot coming into this fight, but every time he landed a good punch, Wlad answered with something that put him on the seat of his pants.

Very dominant victory over a good pro with a vast amateur pedigree. Wlad has some great opportunities to put the finishing touches on his career with the challenges that await around the corner.

and even more precise holding. 44 times in 4 and a half rounds. it's not even boxing anymore. its just a complete farce.

Would have probably been the best guy on Wlad's resume though.

How many of his fights have you watched? highlights from the Tyson fights?

Sure it could . Byrd took wlad the distance first time round and has a 9th round win over Vitali. David Haye took wlad the distance. Some people seem to think Lewis had a bad chin but he took Vitali's best shots. As long as Moorer didn't stand in front of the Klitschko's like he did against Foreman I don't see why he couldn't take them the distance.

It was strategic clinching! Even a great ref like Tony Weeks allowed it.. People need to accept that holding and tactical arm grappling are not the same!
