Yet he fought just as I described him! One commenter above stated how all they kept doing was pawing with the jab!

To beat Klitschko you need a Larry Holmes like jab. You can't stand in front of him with your chin in the air and remain flatfooted throughout the fight, that plays right into his comfort zone.
Sadly wankers on here made Pulev out to be something he isnt

If you had seen his crap performance against over the hill Tony Thompson, it was clear Pulev simply did not have anything that would cause Wlad any problems.

i agree with everything you say, sadly the HW doesnt have many skilled guys, true students of the game, on top of that they have to be naturally gifted to cope with Wlad

Stylistically, when is he ever NOT wrong for anybody in the last few years?

I wudnt call this a mismatch because Pulev earned his shot, although i wud have liked to see him fight Fury and or Chisora first
Yes but when he fought Leapie, people wanted him to face Pulev first, which he just did. All in good time.

I certainly hope this is a joke. Haye was so scared of getting starched he barely fought. He threw himself to the ground so many times that the ref finally called one a knockdown just to stop him from doing it. If he would have even tried to mix it up, he would have gone out on his back. He knew it and so did everybody unbiased watching that fight. Please post this on Dan Rafael's next web chat. I would love to see his response!

Apparently he caused more problems then the much faster, much harder hitting, much more athletic David Haye. And it can't be because Wlad wasn't as good today as he was against Haye.

Just because it doesn't look flashy doesn't mean it isn't skills.

Pulev should have listened to the track by Cool Breeze, you should listen to your corner and watch the Hook. Congratulations to Wlad for his KO victory.

that was an impressive knockout. i give pulev credit for going after him but he paid dearly for it. He threw 3 left hooks that were some of the best i ever seen. That last one was awesome. What i liked about the knock out was Pulev started showing some fight & landed his best punch of the fight but instead of holding Wlad took him out in style. It's been a long time since i enjoyed a Klitschko fight. Yes there was some hugging & rabbit punches but he dominated. There is no way Tyson Fury could take the punches Pulev did. Steward said after Wlad beat chris byrd that he would never lose again. I think he is right. Pulev is big & can take a punch but his defence got exposed. Povetkin has a good left hook so i wonder if he could do the same? That could be an interesting fight. Pulev vs Povetkin. Briggs hanging around again too i see. He isn't going to get a fight. He could probably get a shot if he beat one of Wlad's recent victims. I think Briggs will end up in a German hospital a 2nd time if he does fight him.

there is noone who can bother wlad......i think browne is the most credible contender. fury wouldnt survive one of those hooks.

I think it's unfair to say that Klit jabbed and grabbed his way to victory. Sure there was plenty of both but he took a fair few risks, went balls to the wall at points and knocked the **** out of a guy who was rightfully ranked at/near the top of all the governing bodies.

Not sure why they get such smarmy pricks to right these articles.
