Was Pulev standing in a hole, or is he that much shorter than Wlad?

Oh great Pulev is much shorter, always good for Wlad to have a convenient place to lean.

Pulev vs Thompson was unimpressive.

Wlad will jab, occasionally come forward with a punch then grab an arm. Possibly lean on Pulevs head and neck. Maybe the first few rounds Pulev will try to land something meaningful, flurry. He will tire or become reluctant based on the Klitchko tactics combined with tasting the power. Resulting in an eventual KO, or points victory for Wlad.

shoes / boots can have a big effect on that. posture, too. if a tall dude like klitschko sits in a chair all day, he'll be shorter when he goes to bed than when he wakes up in the morning.

They have to pretend all of Wlad's opponents are midgets. People caught on to the whole pretending he does nothing but clinch because of the Povetkin fight when almost all of his fights have ended in KOs. Now it's back to saying he only wins because he's tall.

Pulev is 6'4", refer to the Thompson fight (6'5") who he was an inch or two shorter than. Wlad is 6'6"-6'7".

The reach difference is only 1 inch so it's not a huge deal. Pulev was outjabbing Dimitrenko, Thompson and Ustinov from the outside. So if Wlad is successful against Pulev it won't be because of size.
