There's only so many poor performances you can have against sub par opposition before showing you're lack of class.

And obviously we all saw Maidana beat the hell out of him.

Win or lose (most likely lose) he has a hard time with Matthysse.
And oh how I wanna see it. Something about Broner getting beat up brings me joy. I need to go to church.

Exactly. For all the hype they don't believe in their guy

What the hell is Devon thinking? Doesn't he know that the NSB mafia hates Broner and that trumps any argument anybody can make.

arent he and broner friends from the amateurs? i know broner is friends with the petersons, but i think he is friends with devon too. or maybe its the petersons who are freinds with devon too.

to be fair alexander did fight matthysse, so he does have some understanding of what he brings to the table. i personally think matthysse is a stylistic nightmare for broner though, i dont agree with the people who seem to think matthysse is way better. perhaps slightly but they are the same level as far as im concerned. the way their styles clash i give matthysse a clear edge.

he doesnt seem like he wants it though, broner clearly does.

what? when asked about this fight matthysse said, "i hope he isn't joking". lucas wants this fight and any other big fight. i don't know about broner, but his team doesn't want it for sure

If Al thinks Broner handles Matthysse then it's hard to see any reason why the fight wouldn't get made. Broner is a significant asset for Haymon, and he's had a lot of money invested in him. If he beats Matthysse then it's like the Maidana fight never happened.

Flat footed, leaky defense, stays in the pocket, gets pushed up against the ropes easily.

It's easy work all right...easy work for Lucas.

I think Matthysse knocks him out.

I think Broner might go the distance I don't question the kids toughness but he will get absolutely pounded over 12.

That said not only does Lucas hit harder than Maidana IMO hes faster, a better body puncher, combination puncher & finisher and has maybe one of the best gas tanks in the sport.
He isn't going to fade after 6, hes only just getting started then.
