dude, provo, has no jab, stops everything with his face, no head movement and tends to gas late in the fight. lucas is no ggg nor kovalev, but he isn't close to provo at all.

I didn't see it in Matthysse pre-hype, I didn't see it at the peak of his hype and I don't see it now. To me he is very basic, gets hit way too much and will struggle with any decent boxer with a solid chin.

Soto has an epic chin, Alexander has a good chin, Peterson has a good chin. He knocked two of them out and by common consensus was robbed in the other.

See, I don't rate Soto, Peterson or Alexander either.

I thought Matthysse beat Alexander and despite not rating Peterson, the manner in which he beat him was impressive.

I don't dislike Matthysse whatsoever or think he's poor, I just don't think he is skilled. That doesn't mean his style can't win fights, I'd pick him to beat the likes of Broner and Khan who have problems with that style...but as I said, I'd also pick Provodnikov to beat them.

I honestly think Alexander is terrible. Matthysse won that fight without a doubt. However, Shawn Porter is not exactly skilled and he beat the crap out of Alexander.
