You people do realize, it's not who you fought, name wise that matters... it's when and the circumstances of who you fought...

Hence, why Triple G vs Floyd makes sense... Floyd is (for some reason) ranked number 1 pound for pound... Triple G is clearly number 2 on the list by default because nobody wants to fight him (Yes, I believe fighters who duck fights and avoided fighters should be moved up and down the list for this reason)...

I see from the comments most people believe that Triple G wipes Floyd out even at 54'...

I can't see the fight going past 6 rounds but this won't matter because Floyd will be fighting some new overhyped opponent like Khan or Thurman... and Floyd's **** riding fans just want to see him win not take on any challenges...

      Here's the thing...

If Canelo v. Cotto is the second ranked fight you'd like to watch most out of every match up in boxing... then you my friend are a brainwashed **** rider...

My list of fights I think would mean the most legacy wise:

      1. Triple G v. Mayweather
      2. Mayweather v. Pacquiao
      3. Triple G v. Cotto
      4. Andre Ward v. Kovalev
      5. Pacquiao v. Marquez V (with random-blood testing to squash the su****ions)

Canelo hasn't shown anything because he hasn't clearly won any big fights...

Are you really this dense? 175 pound guy moving up to Heavyweight to fight a guy who weighs-in (not day-of weight) at 250 lbs applies to a Welterweight moving up 13 pounds to fight a Middleweight, which has been done by all of the greats including Sugar Ray Robinson and Leonard, Tito Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya, the list goes on an on... Floyd even said he would up to 160 to fight Tito... Cotto just did it...

So I guess you're admitting that Floyd is not an ATG and he is limited in who he can fight...

Floyd should just move up and fight Tyson Fury...why not Fury isn't that good right? Floyd is the greatest of all time... Floyd can move up to Heavyweight and beat Fury also... sign that fight up...

If beating a fighter who jumped three weight divisions for the first time is such a great win for FLoyd against Marquez, Why wouldn't fans want to see a great win for Floyd against GGG? after all, weight does not matter, skills do.

Look at the flip-flopping. Same people praised Marquez as a Legitiamte Matchup for FLoyd, but put him in the same weight climb against GGG, at the same age Marquez was, and it becaomes illegitimate?

Floyd's natural weight is 147. He couldn't shed two pounds to make weight against Marquez. Thats his natural weight, and you add in his age, and he is not going back down, and has not since the day he failed to make weight.

When Marquez made the jump to fight Mayweather the same age, 36. He went up in weight to fight Mayweather, but he went back down to lightweight for his next to fights.

GGG is 32 now, thats the same age Mayweather was when he faught Marquez who was 36, and Mayweather is now 37.

              same circumstances

So let's see it, put up and call for the fight. TBE?
Floyd Mayweather is supposed to go up in weight to fight Golovkin? Why? Golovkin is basically a no name fighter that HBO is trying to force down the boxing world's throat along with a lot of other great white hope goulash from the eastern block. Who is he that Mayweather needs to do anything on his terms? And correction: Mayweather has not fought below the welterweight limit once since he became a welterweight which was years before he fought Marquez. It's funny how people try to act like that wasn't a catch weight when you say Mayweather "failed to make weight" against Marquez. As if losing two extra was intended do anything but help Marquez. Floyd Mayweather came up from super feather weight to become a welterweight. Golovkin has never fought as anything but a middleweight. Mayweather has already achieved greatness in the sport of boxing. What is Golovkin going to do to achieve his own greatness? Move down in weight? Okay, if that's how they do it these days? Bernard Hopkins is a career middleweight who moved up to light heavyweight because he couldn't make the middle weight limit anymore. Mayweather is a fighter who started at a lower weight and ended up as a welterweight. There is really no comparison. Hopkins and Kovalev were in the same weight division. Mayweather and Golovkin are not. I'm going say it just to make the hater piss their pants: Andre Ward. Lol...

the bottom line is FLOYD should fight GGG. it doesn't make sense to fight pacquiao. GGG would go to 154 to fight FLOYD. let's make it happen,,
