I simply find racism abhorrent regardless of what race or nationality makes them. Floyd Mayweather is supposed to go up in weight to fight Golovkin? Why? Golovkin is basically a no name fighter that HBO is trying to force down the boxing world's throat along with a lot of other great white hope goulash from the eastern block. Who is he that Mayweather needs to do anything on his terms? And correction: Mayweather has not fought below the welterweight limit once since he became a welterweight which was years before he fought Marquez. It's funny how people try to act like that wasn't a catch weight when you say Mayweather "failed to make weight" against Marquez. As if losing two extra was intended do anything but help Marquez. Floyd Mayweather came up from super feather weight to become a welterweight. Golovkin has never fought as anything but a middleweight. Bernard Hopkins is a career middleweight who moved up to light heavyweight because he couldn't make the middle weight limit anymore. Mayweather is a fighter who started at a lower weight and ended up as a welterweight. There is really no comparison. Hopkins and Kovalev were in the same weight division.
