LOL @ that much bigger... Welterweight moving up to Middleweight has been done so many times by so many greats including Cotto, De La Hoya, and Tito...

And last I read... Triple G was willing to come down to 54' for the fight...

But anyway let's continue to protect Floyd and pay for his boring fights like the Canelo, the Ghost and the Maidana rematch...

Umm hasn't Mayweather already fought De La Hoya and Cotto at 154? It's not like Floyd fought at 54' and then said..whoa this weight class is too big for me..I'm never doing it again... he fought Canelo at 52' and Cotto at 54'...

So a guy gets to call himself TBE but never takes on any challenges? I was never of the opinion that fighting a 39-year old Mosley coming off of a 16 month layoff was a challenge nor did I think fighting Canelo even if he had fought him at 154 was that big of a challenge... Canelo shows he has serious stamina issues, can't fight for 3 minutes of every round and fades at the end of fights... Not to mention, he's a slow-plodding boxer...

If Triple G at 154 is too much for Mayweather, then Ring Magazine should rank Triple G above May... why does May get a pass for not taking on the biggest challenges out there? He even admits it...
What you are saying would make sense if Golovkin was a junior middleweight. But he is not. If he wants to go down in weight maybe he should do it first and then a fight with Mayweather might be worth talking about. Until then it's just people trying to attach his name to Mayweather's to bring him the much needed attention and to desperately find another way to trash Mayweather.

Mayweather already moved up from super feather weight. If welter weight was his starting weight in the sport maybe you would have a point. But at 37 years old he is as big as he's going to get whilst remaining in good health and fitness. Any more size would be due to unhealthy weight gain from drinking, drugging and over eating or weight lifting.

There's always an excuse with Mayweather...Maybe if Triple G does this... May will fight him...Maybe if Pacquiao leaves Arum... Maybe if my health didn't come first... I'd fight such and such...

Please boxing fans stop arguing with these guys, you are doing yourselves no favors.

They will make any argument as to why GGG or Krusher or (insert hype job here) is the next best thing since....air.

This is right out of the Top Rank school of hype building, say everyone is avoiding your fighter while signing them to fight powder cake soft competition and build up their killer reputation all the while avoiding any top ten contenders or champions. We have seen this all before.

Just wait, eventually they will have to fight someone good they can't skate around forever, unless your Manny and you can have belts made up for you to fight for.

I'll tell you one thing... I sure as hell won't be ordering the next Mayweather fight because he'll fighting Khan/Alexander/Thurman...

              I won't order Pac v. Algieri...

But I will be watching the next Triple G and Kovalev fights...

                Enormous size differential?

Floyd: 5' "9" (Or very close to it) 72" reach walks around 150 or so

                Gennady: 5' 10" 70" reach and walks around 162

This is NOT a huge size differential as Golovkin is a small middleweight.

I don't see why this fight can't happen.

As long as they both wear 18 Oz gloves and headgear then it shouldn't be too difficult to negotiate.

LOL have you seen the guys Floyd has fought over the past couple of years... you think any of them could beat Triple G or Pac? LOL...

You're one of the main reasons Floyd is able to duck fights because you will buy Floyd v. insert any Al Haymon soft opponent here

Its worth noting that you are one of the very worst cheerleaders for a fanbase that is universally regarded as by far the most racist in boxing, but also probably across the whole sporting spectrum. Disgusting.
I guess you're trying to win an Oscar award with this "I'm against racism" act. You are the epitome of everything you accuse others of being. You are a bigot and an advocate of hate violence yet you always accuse others of being what you are. Your hatred is so thinly veiled that it's pretty hilarious that you think this whole act where you accuse others isn't completely transparent.
