I don't understand how Mayweather-worshipers can actually claim he's TBE or an ATG when fighting a guy in a division he has already fought in.. is asking him to do too much?
Umm hasn't Mayweather already fought De La Hoya and Cotto at 154? It's not like Floyd fought at 54' and then said..whoa this weight class is too big for me..I'm never doing it again... he fought Canelo at 52' and Cotto at 54'...
So a guy gets to call himself TBE but never takes on any challenges? I was never of the opinion that fighting a 39-year old Mosley coming off of a 16 month layoff was a challenge nor did I think fighting Canelo even if he had fought him at 154 was that big of a challenge... Canelo shows he has serious stamina issues, can't fight for 3 minutes of every round and fades at the end of fights... Not to mention, he's a slow-plodding boxer...
If Triple G at 154 is too much for Mayweather, then Ring Magazine should rank Triple G above May... why does May get a pass for not taking on the biggest challenges out there? He even admits it...
