I have an amateur background but I'm not a great boxer...what has that got to do with Judah? you think only great fighters can be champions? Judah was very good at one stage, did well to get to where he did at 147 but it was a weak division at the time with the 3 best fighters to fight at 147 since Leonard/Hearns/Duran being Oscar/Mosley/Tito moving fighting at other weights and the generation of Cotto/Marg yet to come.
None of that makes Judah great though. He did have exceptional natural gifts, speed, reflexes and some pop but he lacked steely grit, great mental strength and resolve to dig deep when **** got real at the highest level. So tell me, how was Judah great?
